This is the computer I use for work, and to play FFXI currently. Will this computer be able to run FFXIV?

My guess is if its a new laptop, it should run it. Will it run it well? Probably not. Laptops, unless they are "gaming laptops", in general have shitty graphics cards. Unless you give specific specs of what your machine has its hard to say. That spec page says it can have a wide range of different hardware.

As Darkshade said, download the benchmark. If you score below 2500 your gaming experience will be sub-par.

The sticking point is the GPU. My guess is that it'll try to run, given the feature set of the GPU, but won't be particularly playable due to the performance level being well below the minimum spec'ed ATI card.
