Doing The Impossible...

Going to attempt to do something I believe to be completely impossible on carbuncle, all the "tl:dr" will be after the important part.

Trying to find 17 people, to do Dynamis - Tavnazia ONLY.

Starting in oct, twice a week for the whole month just tavtavtavtav

I've been playing far to long to not have the god damn 1 piece of gear I want, and I'm going to start a shell dedicated to it (and yours).

I want to find 17 people who can come 10+ times (even after i get my one piece, yes)

I need feedback on best times/days for those people, I'm pretty much free afternoon any day.

Ok tl;dr part;

Starting out, free lot 19/20 jobs ALL gear, ALL gear, except rdm hat.

AFTER I get rdm hat, EVERYTHING free lot, AND money split for the remaining runs after.

Simple enough, I'm tired of *** city runs, and I know you are all also, xarc gear is the only gear worth a damn and its to hard to do a xarc run, imo.

Quick set of rules:

Can wear, can lot.
If you win, no money split for that run;
IE; 18 people go 100 money drop 10 people win armor, 8 split money, everyone wins.

If it works out well, ***, we can keep doing it, if everyone is willing.

I just need someone who's done enough tav to know it well, a competent caller, and a blm leader.

It shouldn't be to difficult to find those 3 things and 14 random people willing to skip the *** and get the gear they need, no points, no drama, no wasted time.

i'd personally be highly suspicious of the future of a linkshell the leader was forming to get one piece of gear

i doubt the rest of the 10+ scheduled runs would get finished if leader got the hat early on

I would love to do this and I wouldn't care how long it lasted..would be worth it imo even for just a few weeks.

Is there a server where its not jap onry 24/7 and the few NA that play actually do something?

You do realize Xarc is much easier than Tav yea? Also quite a few ppl don't have tav access so finding what you're looking for is going to be quite a bit harder than you anticipate I think.

Also I think this idea will create a ton of drama. Especially when people are free lotting on gear when they only have that job to like level 8 lol.

If I were on that server I'd be suspicious of where the money is coming from to buy glass for these runs. Considering it would most likely cost the leader less to just buy dchap from an established shell. In that avenue they would be guaranteed it also. Even if it could potentially take longer.

There is no established shell I'm willing to deal with. And of the ones that are, they want something HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE like 10 mil for it.

Yes xarc is easier, but with 18 ONLY in tav, no one can sneak friends in to ninja lot.

And honestly, it takes a couple hours to make 500k, even if I wanted to throw it away, what good is gil anymore? EVERYTHING worth getting is from ToM. I'd straight up pay the 10 mil to one of carbys shitty endgame shells, if it were possible but its not.

That's why the title is impossible, it was a shot, no one is willing to freelot xarc/beau/hydra gear, oh well, they can slave for their shells for years and still not get it, i couldnt care less, I'll just change my main, i have 8 85 jobs, not having the rdm hat for soloing is no sweat off my sack, just would be nice to have when i need rdm for something.

BTW, yeah alot of people would be pissed about what I've said, but no one from carby reads it, so f(_)ck em.

no one wants to spend 6 hours a week for a chance at obsolete or soon to be obsolete gear and it's the server's fault

there are two pieces of gear that are worth major effort and that's hat and th4 hands

and you've got one of the two locked

not the servers fault you're just offering poor terms

Thing is it's not locked, just the first one is, 0 could drop, 10 could drop, *** 100 could drop, life is chance, have to take the chance, or not.

you can choose the chances you take

and the terms you can take them under

you can spend 90ish minutes a week and get a high chance of new, useful gear dropping

or you can spend 6 hours a week on ancient content for a small chance of mostly useless and obsolete gear dropping, with the leader reducing your chances even further by locking one of the only worthwhile pieces of gear

one of these choices yields better results than the other
