I'm sure having the entire set will be better.
Though that Fast Cast IS disappointing. Don't see how it's bad, as opposed to no damage absorbtion (apart from Nocturnus which is already low), I wouldn't have expected it to be a high proc anyway. 2.5% recast is 5% Fast cast, that's better than any other option available for Ichi casting, again no problems here.

I think everyone was hoping for a set that we could idle in and/or use while TP'ing, and have that additional set bonus to help out. If some of the pieces don't have useful melee'ing stats and the set bonus is too rare to matter, we'll just end up taking out AF3 for more useful melee'ing stats. How do you figure? Only the head isn't a TPing piece, legs have 4% over the 3 Homam offer, feet have 4% over the 3 Homam offer, along with 14acc beating Homam legs/feet combined. Great for TP, great for Idle thanks to +HP and -enmity loss.
SE is doing it right for the new AF these days.
1-2% sounds about right... what were you expecting? You've been playing FFXI long enough, you should know better.
