If selling drugs is your way to make ends meet, then at least you're working. I won't argue the legality of it all because that's irrelevant. You *** up your life with the drug use. You could have strictly stayed to selling it. I was never arguing that some people don't need a little bit of assistance here and there between jobs. I was arguing that some people live outside of their means, and they do. I bet since you lost your nicer job, you cut back on spending. You didn't lose that 15 grand a year of income and still tried to spend the way you did previously. If you didn't cut back, why should the government be responsible for paying the extra? It works in a similar fashion as owning a luxury car yes? Bay Area, California. Property tax is a % of the value of your home paid every year the % is controlled by the county you live in. I haven't owned a luxury car so I'm not sure what the details to that tax is. there are many people who take advantage of programs and aid. Anyways wtv people are suggesting would raise taxes and increase inflation and in turn piss off the rest of the middle class and "Disney land ppl" and im pretty sure they would end up shooting down that idea.
