Siren Still Undefeated In Besieged?

I was just curious...I was looking at the records listed on ffxiclopedia...

...but the last date listed was for the first of October 2010. Has Siren managed to maintain its record, even with player population losses and such?

If so, that's quite an achievement. On Fenrir, nowadays it seems we give away the Astral Candescence every few days or so like some kind of Beastmen Mogbonanza. :p

Ramuh loses the candy every two and a half weeks, almost to the dot.

I can't see them losing the record now with Level 85s.

Yes, so long as they have people to care about it they should be fine. Sadly it just takes an Undead Swarm attack at a low-population time to make things hairy though, I would guess.

Ramuh loses to Trolls. That should tell you something about our population.

yah besieged isn't all that tough anymore..

about 80 or so people in zone and not really much danger of losing besieged.

edit: really surprised more people dont do besieged too.. seeing as its the only realistic way to get imperial standing any more.

yes imperial standing still has its uses.. free money from isnm's or doing the ashu talif enm >_> .. mog locker also

I just noticed, Siren has 0 loses, but Lak, has more wins than Siren... hmmmm.... ( i'm really tired atm, heading of to sleep as I type..so if I get zinged about any in correct info, please excuse me.)

I think the jp's do the delay thing for besieged sometimes when it crosses over into NA time

If you break the lamps it lowers the besieged army training number and can delay it.

I don't do alot of besieges myself, ( only when im in Aht Urghan and I hear the distress message..then I show my support.)

Only reason I don't do besieged is b.c I have other things to do in the game I find inportant at the time..

Flunk, again since I'm not a master of Besieged, what do you mean by this " breaking of the lamps?", what's this mean?

I'm tired but here's this before i go to bed.. taken from wiki..

The Besieged map displays the state of the enemy armies. Each of them has a strength level, "Enemy Forces".

* When this number is below 100, the enemy is "Training".
o During Training the force level rises slowly.
o The speed of Training depends on the number of Archaic Mirrors they have when their invasion window opens.
* The force level can be lowered by defeating monsters in the appropriate stronghold. However, once it is reduced to a certain point, the rate of the increase of that force will accelerate.
* Defeating a Notorious Monster inside that base will automatically reduce their force by 1.
* Their force level is increased by 1 when a player inside that stronghold is KO'ed.

I haven't tested all of that but i know the mirros's had something to do with the besieged number lol..

I use to sit there and put DoT's on them while leveling bst.. you can attack them if your careful and not aggro the protectors around them. Can trade in the mirror fragment or w/e it's called for imperial standing too..

After reading all that mess the most likely reason for a server to have more besieged than another would be the player death.

Maybe more people die in the aht urghan beastmen strongholds on lakshimi than on siren raising the training number faster and causing more besieged there :o

Wow part of my dream last night was that we actually lost a besieged because literally noone turned up to it, and this thread shows up D:

I woke up shivering and screaming like a little girl, jk but I really did dream that.

Sometimes besieged ends in 10 minutes on siren if theres a lot of 85s doing it, mobs drop like a sack of bricks.

Didn't we lose at the beginning of the year some time? O___O Before the level cap was raised.

Ya Ricco, were behind ya, a steady 3rd. Alot of ppl just come to beseiged just to skill up, but being there, we might as well kick ***, while we're at it. LOL

Lol I actually left Lakshmi right after the first loss. Was lame too. Like triple lvl 10 with hardly anyone on

Besieged isn't worth my time lets goto Abyssea.

Only reason they will get it back is because people are going to be like .... now we can go get it back for the 1st time.

ehh besieged still has value imo.. as low level skill up place...

or just renewing your mog locker / getting Imperial standing for warps if you aren't captain..

lot of magian trials can be done in toau areas so a little bit of IS is a good thing if you are a noob and not captain ;p
