Bazaar Alley?
if i remember correctly there used to be like a million Bazaars located just before you exit upper jeuno to battalia downs and then even some outside.. is there still a universal spot where people go with their bazaar's?

When did asura have bazaars in batallia? As long as I can remember all bazaars were in rolanberry fields. When we merged w/ pandy bazaars moved to ru'lude gardens. There are less bazaars in general now, but that's probably because so much good stuff is rare/ex now.
They were all outside of town to avoid the taxes. Now that Jeuno has no taxes they all just sit around in Ru'Lude.
You mean people actually looked at bazaar's in XI?
I always thought of them as a waste of time. Most of them are filled with either 99,999,999 junk that no one gives a damn about, overpriced auction house gear or they're trying to sell a single crystal for 1k. Mine is just overpriced gear when I have no space on AH. Figure if it goes it goes, so why have it sitting in inv with zero chance of selling? Oh, and loads of quivers of arrows from leftover mats that I can't make 12x quivers from. Do miss teh rolan-mart though, used to enjoy poking my nose for mannequin parts and ancient beastcoins I used to not check them either Laffter. But then some guy was quitting and sitting in a corner in jeuno and I bought like 4 mil worth of stuff for 10 gil, and so I check now.
Not checking bazaars is pretty stupid, I know lots of players who make all their gil like that, buying cheap stuff and selling it for more than they bought it for lol.

At least on Sylph, I've found this to be less true than in the past, but I have definitely made a significant chunk of gil by buying in Rolanmart, zoning into town and selling on the AH. |
