Well, in jobs where you can advance in position, starting out at the bottom makes sense.

If we all share the same soul (earth?), then we as a race is in competition trying to damn it faster and faster. The only way we create jobs is by finding something more things to blow up it seems. And just in a physical sense... Work isn't supposed to automatically mean putting yourself in a stress inducing environment, sacrificing your happiness and health for a wage that everyone worships. A plant does work by growing naturally. I just think work should = art... not a competition. Pictures of these sweatshops should make you see how ridiculous it is. Not be inspired to work harder to show them up. At least that's my own opinion. Edit: I messed up that math with the 391 years to get a million dollars. Lol, by a lot.
