Ludo's right though. I spammed these forums today and remained number four on my server list all day. Below the new Conqueror wielder, the banned #2 player in all of FFXI, and the big daddy *** PLD of our server who leads the biggest shell.

Tomorrow I want to see you in that number one slot, no messing about now.

To some people, yeah. It's a big epeen thing. I really don't give a *** much. Although I have gotten hate tells for wearing a Hydra Haubert on my WAR from a lot of PLDs, after checking my gear on here.

Yeah. Hauberts are super *** rare. There's only uh...six on my server? And all are owned by people with Hauteclaires and stuff. So the PLDs that see me with one on WAR, or with it on PLD and don't have Homam legs, etc catch a hissy fit. FFXI is srs, srs bsnss.

I agree with so many things mentioned in this thread.
-People not checking /seacoms.

-People telling you how to do your job.

-Paladins that don't voke or cure themselves.

All those kinds of things.

But you know what doesn't grind my gears? This thread! It made me laugh several times.

Threads like this, seeing how other people get annoyed with stupid-heads, makes me feel better, like I'm not some over sensitive crank that wants things a certain way.

Oh, and horrible spelling. If you play on PC, there is no need to use l33t speak, you have a full keyboard.

I don't mind this as long as it is actually helpful. For example, I tell THFs I party with pre-60 to put Trick Attack in their Macro before Sneak Attack, the TA animation isn't as harsh as the SA one and for some reason the macro flows smoother. /ja TA.../wait 1.../ja SA.../wait 1.../ws VB plants hate quick if you need it to.

Having like 1.3k Imperial Standing, and watching it dwindle due to Sandy-Jeuno, Jeuno-Sandy warping all the time...

Set HP @ North Sandy MH. Warp brings you back, right near OP warp, a quick zone into MH and zone out to south brings you to Whitegate warp! I'd rather spend 300g then 100 IS personally.

or u could just use the choco tracks to meet peeps to tele or just do the mh tele zone trick

Post 60 THFs who don't understand the concept of Assassin and SATA. One case they SATA from the back making TA worthless anyway, the other case they SATA from the front making SA worthless. My friend actually got harassed for replacing this THF.

And on the subject of SATA. Paladins who don't understand the concept of "Stand still." Everyone's in their positions around the mob and I wanna TADE the PLD. The PLD in, all his glory, moves right just enough to screw up TA. Once is fine. Mistakes happen. Several times, even after being told to stand still, is just *** annoying!

Had a hunch he was one of the coward Paladins. "If he does that, nobody will be able to take hate if I hit the red."

Speaking as a 75THF, yes- wholeheartedly, yes!
If you mess up my TADE, you have critically impaired my damage dealing capability.
People say "lolthf", but they are damn good DDs if you work WITH them.

As for PLD, if you lose hate easily, you are doing it wrong.
That being said, you CHOOSE to level PLD. Therefore, you choose to be a tank.
And by definition, you place your fate in the hands of your party.

Therefore, it is in everyone's best interest to work WITH your party members so they can kill it quickly.

QFT! I don't understand the lolTHF mindset myself, duo with THF as my DNC all the time and THF can put up some pretty big numbers, plus someone being able to manipulate hate through Accomplice and Collaborator is VERY handy at times. Plus, when THF takes hate, at least the mob misses occasionally, unlike other DD's that just sit there and get their face beat in when they take hate...which most DD's seem to have some deep seated desire to do: "Hurr, I took hate watch me die omg healer you suxor!!!"

Then again, I'm a "lolDNC" so I pay little attention to the "lolJOB" thing anyways. I can main heal full parties, have a pretty decent "erase", can do mild enfeebling through steps, give "free" skillchains, first voke for SATA, Stun, all without ever needing to rest...but ya, lolDNC >.<

And ditto on the scaredy-cat PLDs that don't wanna tank. LRN2PLD...

My girlfriend is a DNC.
We duo a lot. She can take hate with her step/waltz/flourish combo.
Then she does wild flourish and I SC with SADE.
We've taking on VT >> ITs to chain 4 and 5, just for fun.
DNC is pretty strong if you find someone that knows what they are doing!

Another thing that grinds my gears...

When people feel the need to make up percentages to support their view.
Over 90% of random percentages are made up!

Look, they can be useful to support an argument, provided you bring data to support your "facts".
But seriously, people that say, "My way is right and 99% of people agree" is just annoying.
Or worse yet, "99% of the people in the game dupe salvage gear, you can't get banned!"

Boy, was that proved wrong or what? hahahaha
