Christmas is the perfect alcoholic's Holiday. I mean, when else can you cut down a tree, drag it into your house and string it up with shinies, and not be arrested? Try that from Dec26-Nov10th and You're put in a padded cell for the safety of others.

I celebrate because I only get to see my family once a year at the most, and it's during the holidays. Also because getting presents is awesome. Yay for free stuff!

This made me remember my friend who did this and was charged with a felony, apparently the highway commission frowns upon this lmao...
I loved the video, if anything I celebrate because it is enjoyable.
It is cold and dark outside (in the northwest the days are super short). I have kids and they enjoy the time of the year to get special gifts. I get to share some of my cooking with others and we just have fun. Top that off with several holiday days at work (off and paid) and you have a makings of an excellent end of the year week.
So in short it has nothing to do with religion or anything like that, just a fun time and a nice way to end a year.
I'm an Atheist but how is it that deaths caused by the overcrowding of people trying to scramble for sales on the day after ThanksGiving related to Christianity?
Because they're buying gifts for Christmas which is a holiday based on Christs birth? Idk about you but I know many other Atheists that celebrate Christmas just for the whole "giving away / getting ***" part.

Beat me to the punch...
It's consumerism that kills on that day, not any religion. To protest you should follow this guy:Jay Shafer
Quite funny, although poking fun at religious extremists is a good way to end up dead.
threatening those that disagree with you with violence, nice, I knew you'd show it eventually.
*** U ME, nice try.
not a threatening word there past what you'd imply dirknugget.
threatening others to be quiet or they'll be attacked, is a threat. No matter what you say guy.
Looks to me like he was just making the statement based on past observations. I.E. the whole HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE South Park vs Prophet Muhammad.. I see no suggestion of him threatening someone 'who disagrees with him'.

more assumptions.
can you quote the words that threaten death or should i refer you to the words i italicized that were just statements like slip said^
you really need to try to work your head out of your hiny broham.
it's okay to read between the lines.
but you always assume anyone that has an opinion that isn't the same as yours is out to get you/get someone who you believe carries the same opinion.
and it's stupid to be that way.
I was threatening no one. I was making a truthful statement. It should be blatantly obvious to you by now, I'm no religious extremist. He pointedly made fun of a few things associated with both Muslim and Christian radicals.
Thank you to everyone who saw that, and pointed it out for me.
This is the very reason some key people talked the director of 2012 out of including key Muslim icons from destruction in the movie. They knew it would bring bad, bad consequences.
