That set would look so gross, though. :(

Yeah. Kamome is still your best bet in Abyssea, but elsewhere it's starting to fall behind. Oirandori is also good in group situations.

Doesn't exist, gogo Abyssea.

Tons of fun with the low delay, but I don't think it beats other options. Maybe against really weak stuff.

Wouldn't dual wield from iga head and chain mail be better? And at least in abyssea qirmiz tathlum would beat that ammo.

Since you will be trading off dusk gloves instead of ocelot's to make iga/ninja combo work:

3% more double attack
3% more triple attack
10 more accuracy
4 more attack
13 more STR
15 more DEX
21 more AGI
3 more enmity

More inventory for other actions

In exchange for 10 dual wield, shock spikes, 5 VIT, and 37 HP? IDK pretty tough to beat above especially when we are losing TP per hit w/ that dual wield.

The ammo I am sure is something debatable though.

Toss on a 10% double attack off hand katana and /war you are sitting on 40% double attack with the ammo.

Iga head+2 and iga body+2 is far superior outside of abyssea. Ninja chainmail+1 on extremely low level monsters and abyssea.

1 more STR
3 less DEX
3 less DA
3 less TA
5% more critical rate
7 more accuracy
7 more attack
5~10 more dual wield

Meh

At this stage the extra accuracy and attack are pretty minimal

The bird man set I posted is already at 36 accuracy and 47 attack
food can make up for the difference but there is not triple/double attack food that I am aware of.

Dual wield is already a marginal increase with how many low man and even solo haste options we have now. Crit rate can be given using rancor collar at the expense of only 3% double attack, instead of 3% DA and 3% triple attack. And even then that adds accuracy and attack.

You could argue that koga hands will be a good option instead of dusk. But there is also no reason you cannot wear koga/dusk+1 in my set anyway. No harm in adding 1% more haste over already capped haste anyway lol.

At any rate I am really glad I sold my +1 dusk hands, before alucinor and koga as upgrades came into light. Made a nice profit.

Also just to make people rage say hello to my new goal sets for utsu pre-cast and mid-cast:

Pre-Cast

I almost have all of this already, only missing augmented feet, and the belt, which is not hindering it anyway, and I need to redo my head item to add 2% more fast cast.

Mid-Cast

This one is going to take me a while

Kinda makes a nice hybrid haste/evasion set to have already been rolled into after casting utsusemi wouldn't you agree?

That is pretty nice set there Generic, IDK if it matters to you, but you may want to toss in Hochomasamune for off hand for 10 more DEX.

The main point of relevance is that 5% dw is better than 3% triple attack, you won't be capping attack speed without marches at least, not entirely sure if you cap with or without head. Either way, 5% dw wins unless capping attack speed.

I prefer sid in my midcast but to each his own. For ichi I use a precast > midcast > casting set

Hochomasamune has a pretty bad delay though.

In my tests, if you don't have cap at 102%, it does rather little but when it works it is very useful.

Yea comes in handy lol. Also here's my tp set. Didn't rly wanna post but every set has it's reasons lol

Far from capped haste but again I'm just trying to get low delay for kikoku procing. With the exception of haidate which I use for ddex and crit dmg

And for Jin users I use this inside aby. Last night was first time I've been in aby in awhile doing dhorme/apa but was averaging around 4k with spikes to 5.3k

Dual Wield has increasing returns, there's nothing marginal about it in situations where you're not fully buffed... Your set doesn't beat the standard mix-match sets (Byakko's Haidate + Iga Kyahan +2/Iga Hakama + Usukane Sune-ate) even if using Iga Ningi +2 instead of Ninja Chainmail (+1). The set I posted on the previous page is even further ahead... and your set is by far the most annoying/expensive to obtain of the four despite having the worst performance.
