Even with the improvements, I doubt it would be worth playing if you already played the first EO. Second game is vastly superior. Also 2 new jobs War Magus and Gunner. Able to pick both Ronin and Hexer at start of game instead of half way through the game and both jobs are very useful in the second game. Second game fixed a lot of things needed from the first game. It would need some drastic changes for me to replay it again.

It certainly isn't story and visuals that needs fixing. The first game needs to balance out Ronin and Hexer to be more useful. They are both horrible for advanced classes which you get much later in game. Also needs a storage option like EO II. More icons for mapping as well.

I do plan on playing through SMTDS but so many games to choose from atm. I did already try the game out but just didn't get very far into the game.
