FFVII is overrated in due to it being "first" at several technical and a few "story" things. Besides that it's pretty much your usual FF game.

Lightning was a lot more interesting as a character than Cloud ever could be. But that don't help FFXIII out of the abyssal hole it made with the franchise. And now they will finish ruining poor Lightning with a quck cash grab game.


NIIIIIICE.


I hope they learn and focus on scripting, storytelling and battle systems. Their games are BEAUTIFUL ENOUGH with their current tech. They need to focus on contents now. They've been piling game engines on top of game engines for the last 10 years.
