Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

You guys have a zombie agreement? That's actually awesome. I should have the same talk with my brother. It might be different though, due to me wanting to be a zombie. I swear, I'm like the only person I know who actually opts to be one.

I would opt to be a Zombie if I get bit by
1. My husband.
2. A mosquito or something else that I can kill after the bite.

Getting attacked and trying to run or defend myself is too much work, I am not up for all that.

xD You're the first I've heard saying that. Closest is that they would just want to die. I might agree with you on some level, except that I'd have to wonder if there would be any conscious level of knowing what you're doing. If not, it wouldn't be quite as exciting. :x

Zombies are her nemesis. Mostly my fault, I think. I used to play a lot of Resident Evil (she's 8 years younger than me) growing up and it scared the bejesus out of her. And no, I didn't torture her with it, even seeing the case would scare her. She was a weenie back then! Less of a weenie now, except when it comes to zombies. Still not sure how the eff I got her to start playing RE... lol. xD

Well, I can see why. The sheer numbers alone are frightening. When I first saw Dawn of the Dead, I was freaking out due to the chaos that ensued. I... haven't seen that movie since. >.>

lol I'm not sure why, but I'm fascinated with zombies. Most likely because I got into the Resident Evil series when I was erm... 13? Have been into it ever since. Dawn of the Dead is freaky in the way you describe, but I love it.

I am trying to figure out what there is to do this weekend that she wants to stay for Friday and Saturday night. She said there will be lots of walking and there is a nice pool at the hotel we are staying at.

It is possible that we are going to the zoo for their musical night tomorrow or the Alan Jackson concert.
I have no clue really what we are doing.

There is one aspect of the whole zombie thing I like, but it's based in literary concepts. It's basically a direct comparison with Romantic literature (my favorite, if you couldn't tell... >.>) in that it speaks of a mass of people who are fed up with the bourgeoisie. In a similar ilk to Ozymandias, these people choose to strike against the oppression they once experienced. Plus the whole lurking in the darkness thing is rooted in the Gothic fear of the unknown. For instance, in the painting American Gothic, it seems harmless. It's just a farmer and his wife standing in front of the house. But the more you think about it, you start to wonder about the people within the painting. The man looks a bit old to be her husband, perhaps she's his daughter? Also, why are they both frowning? Why is he staring directly at the audience while she is glaring at him? What's really going on in that painting? That's kinda how the zombie thing works. You see a person lying there dead, right? But is she?
