I ate Chinese yesterday...

Bear with me on this one, but I was curious about a local consensus about which FFXI are most fitting per race in terms of appearance, purpose, stance, and story background. So far I came up with this:

PLD - Elvaan (San d'Orian Knights)
DRK - Galka (Rank 5 and RoZ explain this)

THF - Mithra (obvious yes?)
RNG - Mithra (Based on the niche of "hunters" and the huntress being decended of mithra)
MNK - Galka (can't think of any other race more fitting for using fists and having tons of HP & VIT)

Taru more or less gets any and all mage like classes, with the exception of BLU.

If you have any other ideas or contributions or even criticism I'm open for it. Note that I am not looking at this based directly on which race is most beneficial to the class based on attributes, but rather how appropriate each race fits into the style or class of which the job pertains.

Also MNK AF missions are given to you by a Galka, so yeah. BRD is an all rounder, so I see it as a female or male hume.

COR I see as Elvaan and RDM I see as Hume

I secretly switched it up and got persian, there was still rice involved though. But don't tell anyone.

I just ordered Chinese

Yeah, but what's interesting though is upon further examination of MNK AF quests, you get a manuscript showing the origins of the martial arts training originating in San d'Oria of all places, so that was interesting.
Also Qualtada definitely takes the cake for appearance and style of Corsair, though I generally see it as one of those universal classes, much like PUP, BLU, and even BRD where it can suit just about anyone.

Having a bit of a harder time figuring out ones like:
WAR, BST, DNC, SAM, NIN

Also upon further examination, DRG seems most fitting for Elvaan considering the story of "The Last Dragoon".

Not necessarily Chinese, but reading this made me crave humbows.
