Ugh,everything after the 2nd half of SH4 was terrible. I tell myself I'll finish homecoming and downpour.....someday. Origins wasn't TERRIBLE from what I remember,but never finished it. 1 and 2 though,some of the benchmarks for horror storytelling
SH4 was definitely the worst of the series. It's still miles ahead of all the spin-offs though.

Origins, was a good idea that was very poorly implemented and ended up doing the opposite of what it was meant to do. Mostly because the creators had no idea what they were doing.

Homecoming was the SH Movie meets SH 2 meets Hostel/SAW. In other words, absolute ***.

Downpour is just a ridiculously poorly executed SH 2 with a revenge driven protagonist, instead of a redemption seeking protagonist.

I thought downpour (from what i played) tried to be more of an alan wake clone than anything else. That vita game shouldnt exist either. I played the demo,terrible game.

Book of Memories or w/e it's called? Game looked *** ridiculous. Haven't payed any attention to it after it was announced.

I haven't played/seen Alan Wake so I can't really comment on it being a clone. But it seems likely. Latest SH makers are completely unoriginal. -.-

requierd subs are diffrent now, Ie BRD no longer has CNJ15, <Yoshi wanted BRD to be more of a ranged heavy DD, wich in P4 worked realy good> and MNK also has MRD available for subs wich in 1.0 didnt
