Well, I left but came back.
Yeah I'm in the same boat. No idea how long I'll be here, just testing the waters, seeing how the current FFXI stands to determine whether or not I should play it or FFXIV.
Shouldn't that be based off of ff14 and if you like it or not?
Well I played in the FFXIV beta, and while the game LOOKED great, I was disappointed by the lack of inspiration in class and job skills. Like "10% damage boost for 30 seconds" is the best it gets half the time, and that's super boring. I miss Souleater and Meditate and Counterstance and Sneak Attack.
That said, I loved FFXI, played a good 6 years of it, though never tried anything post-75. There's a lot of content I've missed out on and I'd love to give it another try.
