i enjoyed synergy. it got boring after i transferred and lost people to talk to on vent.

still haven't decided if I want to get limbo yet :/ waiting for something to come in the mail to decide if I want to or not, supposed to be getting Halo: Reach sometime in the next month (stupid microsoft shipping) and lolrockband from a friend who is giving me his copy since I probably have more friends that would play it with me and he doesn't have the controllers anymore lol.

I kinda just want the halo reach more lol, friends bugging the crap out of me about co-op'ing it with him.

FFX-2 was the worst.

Plot was stupid, but I loved the job system(ignoring the Sailor Moon cutscenes).

Better job systems in FF3 and FF5. /yawn @,@ I sleep too much.

I could honestly let every other FF go except for 6.

I hated 12 and gave it to my friend who loved it lol I like X-2 lol spam berserkers everywhere :)

What is so good about 6 that it has as much of a following as 7 does? I've never played 6, but I finally, a couple of years ago bit into the hype of 7 and gave it a shot.. It's not really bad per say, but damned if it isn't extremely overrated.

I can see where the 12 hate comes from, with the lack of direction or any particular standpoint from a defined protagonist or leader and the (from what I hear) lackluster ending. However, I think too few are unable to acknowledge how nice of a change of pace it was having a basis for an FF story to revolve around a war rather than be your typical chase after mysterious antagonist with awkward injected romance between main character and "x" female.
Not to mention the direction of inner systematics and gameplay. It felt and played a lot like a single player XI which I loved. It was a new concept controlling 3 characters at once in real time, and the gambit system worked surprisingly well from a strategist standpoint. Plus there was plenty of stuff on the side including extensive lore and background to read up on to keep me interested without running in a straight line for 75% of the game. It made me feel involved despite being nothing more than a FF version of Star Wars.

At least "Chewie" was hot as hell.





Also a million times this. After playing XIII, any previous FF will look like absolute gold.

If your origins of playing Final Fantasy began with 7 like it has for me, you'll notice a trend of direction in them, and 6 was the real icebreaker "masterpiece" that stood above them if you know what I mean. It's difficult to explain, but 6 simply stands above all others in terms of authenticity for character development as well as making a worthy antagonist with enough complexity in the background.

Locke, Terra, Cyan, Sabin, Edgar etc. etc. all had a great sense of purpose and direction more so than your cliche emo/troubled main character fighting their inner demons and awkwardly put into this seemingly aimless romance with a random female character.

I'm not even a fan of the series.. I only started playing 11 because a friend wanted me to play and it was an MMO, if 11 wasn't an MMO, I probably never would have played any Final Fantasy. Then years later I went back and played 7 to see what all the hype was about (I wasn't impressed, it was average/mediocre), and eventually borrowed friends copy of 13 (looked fun, so I wanted to try it) and now I moved on from FFXI to FFXIV.. Those are the only FF's I've played.

I love Sailor Moon, but even I fast-forward through the henshin sequence every now and then. Except for Eternal Sailor Moon. That one is cool looking.

X-2 was my least favorite. Plot was promising, but the gameplay and characters were a let down. I enjoyed XIII, though. Nice change of pace, however, I still miss the ATB gauge!
