I'll wait a year or two before picking up a PS4. That way I can avoid the mad dash to own the newest console and the acceptable manslaying that is Black Friday.

If I remember correctly, 12 is pretty significant in religions, probably something considered generally holy due to its evenness. 13 however is odd and a bit irregular, likely being linked to more dastardly things. For Friday to be linked to it, I would assume there was some kind of superstition already linked to the day, as many such superstitions based on days exist.

5 bucks says you could figure out a general idea for it on google or wiki with minimal effort.

I don't know why, but when we read the Canterbury Tales in high school I was really annoyed by it. It was like the whole group of travelers was just telling fish stories to see who had the best and biggest lie.

But I might have been looking at it all wrong, that was a decade or so ago. xD
