Dear Uri,
forget tradition and just be super sweet and awesome to that special someone on a regular basis.

I'm kind of a V-Day hater, roses are terrible flowers, would prefer a guy to write or recite me some sweet original material versus buying a v-day card, and i'll take sweet tarts or cinnamon jolly ranchers over some chocolate anyday.

Best part about being single: I don't have to buy jack for anyone. Happy Arizona Statehood Day!

This has been every Valentine's Day since forever!


I used to be all anti-valentine's day. But this is the first year I've been with someone who is good to me around this holiday. :) I think it can be something very special by making it a unique date night. Date night can become routine in itself along with every day that becomes routine (especially since he works so much and goes to class and I pretty much am busy with school every day and night of the week) and I feel like it can really remind each other of being special.

I'm looking forward to it. Even if he doesn't plan much, something simple and special will make me happy. Hell he could even do the same date night routines we do and just make dinner in the shape of a heart instead of normal plating and I'd feel special. Cough

But yeah. I do agree it's important to think about your partner all the time and not just on this "holiday"

Then again, I'm huge about making these kinds of things unique memories. I guess I'm just a sucker for holidays and whatnot
