Onion > Allagan unless for some reason you need the accuracy. Already have valor legs, no point changing to them until I get allagan feet though. Onion shield has nearly the same average damage mitigation as the other shields, but it's more reliable. i.e., it gives you a better chance of actually blocking something that you want to block.

yeah, better than the accuracy i'd get from valor pants since it's superfluous until I lose the acc from sollerets by switching to flanchard.

They're both negligible. Really the entire swap from Allagan/Valor to Valor/Allagan is just for perfectionism rather than any measured gain. Sword and Shield are the only "major" upgrades that I have left.

Wish stats mattered a bit more than they do so we'd see a bigger increase from actually getting the "hard" to obtain gear instead of just farming myth and doing just as well

So not major differences in any respect; parry being the biggest boost, however "big" is relative in this case considering the parry stat's weight; I'd get more by dropping 5 VIT from stat allocations and adding 5 DEX. XIV's gear system is more about "get the highest ilvl possible with the most relevant stats you can" since no armor piece has unique stats attached. It's sort of disappointing.

that's basically what happened to me last night. there was 1/4 an inch of snow in Charlotte last night. it not only stopped UPS and FedEx from doing deliveries (they called it a "Severe Snow Storm" when I called them), but when I was walking my dogs I heard someone scream "LAWD I AIN'T NEVAH SEEN THIS MUCH COCAINE IN ONE PLACE". I swear to living christ, if these people saw the several feet that we used to get in NY...
