Already got a glitched ethereal great hauberk ready for my merc's fortitude. Just need to trade for a Lo and he'll have a nice 3200 armor fortitude and just be a god. Already have an Andarial's on him.

I should find my discs and re-install d2 for some old timey fun.

Soon as my merc gets some good gear, I should be decent as well.

Have any preference on mercs? I used to always use ones from kurast with ice missiles. loved mobs running slow!

When you get the right gear, A2 merc on Nightmare difficulty, Defense aura.

It's Holy Freeze, ***makes life so much easier. Not to mention get an Insight for infinite mana, and Infinity once mana isn't an issue.

I found my disks might install for old times sake. give me something to do while I'm bored anyway.
I never really made it to nightmare, was probably like 12 when i still played the game and usually just derped around making skeleton armies with necro, or wasting time making extra characters to mess around with.
I think it used to be a toss up between amazon and paladin for my favorite class.

I spent over 13 hours today, split by the midday times, trying to PF it. Trying to shout/build/DF+PF. Tried with friends, tried with an all LS group! I tried tanking, I tried DDing, and a few times people inquired about the gear status of my Scholar.

It's so much worse too, because it's so much easier to get far in the Ifrit X fight. It's so much easier to see the finish line, but getting all the way there is another story.

And it's funny, all the people saying it's easy are DDs/DPS. Every time I look into a PF queue, it's 4 DPS, no healers or tanks. Every time I tank it, I have to explain to the other tank how to swap appropriately. Sometimes I didn't though, due to knowing said person's attitude towards being tipped.

You watch the Mr. Happy video on Youtube, and that *** makes stupid remarks like, "Oh, I'm disappointed with how simple this fight is. It's not challenging, though it is tightly worked. You can see we're overgeared for it by 20 iLevels, and there were only 5 seconds remaining in that final nail phase! If you were the rated iLvl I could see it being very challenging!"

Got everything installed and cant get the game to run on win7, running it in compatibility mode for win xp sp2 doesn't seem to work either. :/
