Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

I'll be working 12 hours a day. Plus travel time to and from plant, plus time to get food and eat myself. Basically translates to wake up > get ready and go to work > get off and go eat > go to hotel and wind down > go to sleep.

For the past year+ we've been caring for my grandmother in her house. We do pay bills and provide our own food and everything the only 'free' thing we're granted is a couple of rooms in the house. That has been our living situation for a long time now, much longer than a year but a year or so ago my grandmother had my grandpa to take care of her needs, he died a while back if you remember. Since then we've been her care provider.

So anyways, my uncle got out of prison a couple weeks ago and has moved into the house with all of us (grandma, wife, mother in law, son, me) and he has never gotten a long with anyone in this house really. He tried to literally kill me years ago in a drunken rage. He had literally no where to go so grandma let him come live here. I had a talk with her and told her this was a really bad *** idea putting us all together like this and she basically just said "what else is he supposed to do". (Like I give a *** to be honest) I made her promise that she would back us and not him when the ***hit the fan, and she said she would.

Well ***has hit the fan and she has taken his side if any. I can't kick him out of the house as much as I'd like to because it's not my house. Right now I can't afford to move out (and I really don't like the idea of being "bullied" out of my *** house) maybe later in the year if I get steady work going we can, but right now it's simply not an option..

***has hit the fan because my mother in law went and got googly eyes at him and they started getting real close. She started changing clothes several times a day and upped her bath regimien 3 fold. She even asked for tic tacs, something she has never before asked for. One night they're in his room fooling around (or in her terms "there was some kissing going on and there might've been some touching but I don't know who started it". Whatever the case that resulted in blue balls for him.

later that day he ends up getting alcohol (he's always *** crazy when he's been drinking) and the next day he's accusing my MIL of scratching up his truck. His truck is almost 20 years old and has spent the last 5 years sitting uncovered, it's a miracle it even runs at this point but somehow he can tell what scratches she put on it in retaliation. Not just once, but 2-3 times "new" scratches have popped up. Honestly I think all these have been here this whole time cuz this truck has always been scratched up and ran down, and that he's just looking for something to pin his anger on and blame her for.

There's so much more petty ***that I can't even recall off the top of my head to add to all of this, but my wife ended up melting down on him earlier over it all.

I fell upon the split in a road
Dog legs off the straight and narrow
All the more narrow now
As I gaze upon the pensive of memories

As I've found I can wander back
Just for a look; a matter of fact

Signs seemed to materialize
As I attempted to convince my eyes
To shut and let me walk straight
But the signs dropped my jaw, thus I looked on

One the road of self-interest
Dog eat dog, a common course
To rise over this world's cruel discourse
So in turn I gave it a cold, cruel shoulder

The other road tranquil empathy
A steadfast departure opposed to entropy
Yet this beautiful exterior
Is betrayed by a brutal ulterior

Where is the road not taken?
No such road exists...

So with a lurch I started forth
Away from the paths of prideful lies
Off the deceived, pitiable narrow
I'd rather wander wilds in wonder of what I might find

Than walk the roads known of other's lives
