If I wanted to write a guide, how do I use a node to do so? Like, can I type up my guide under node, then make a topic, type up some code to make the node display? Or what, how does it work?

Or what, how does it work? That's how it works! Nodes have unlimited characters there, so you write everything in your node then link your node in the thread and it loads it there.

yup. the actual post of the guide will have like, 15 characters total. ([node ]nodenumber[/node ])
The node itself is nearly unlimited, and you can put whatever you want in there using BBcode and such.
