Interesting.
Each day I think about designing, the more I realize I need to do more research, and get overwhelmed... I need to get a house so I have an office/work area. One time when I was in the Navy I was tasked with collecting up a bunch of 12V batteries to take to Hazmat for disposal.
Did you guys know that if you put about 20 12V batteries into a plastic trash bag and leave them there for a while it causes a HUGE FIRE??!!?! I know that... now.

I just wanna throw my computer at work across the room right now. Company too cheap to get me half decent programming software, so i have to make 5 different programs to achieve the results that i want with this part. Should be able to do it in 2! D:
My fc finally got a house last week, and finished decorating it recently! Now we just mess around and take ridiculous screenshots all day

Basically this part is a trimming section on a ridiculous angle. to prevent scrap material from bunching up i want to put a land and taper on the inside of the profile, about .375" land the rest tapered out at 1 degree. The problem is that the part has a 3d profile on top so the height of where the taper needs to be will change depending on where its cutting, and the software i have isn't good enough to produce a 4-axis program that can hold a constant height based on a 3d profile. To do this without proper software i have to make a separate program for each wall of the die section. :/ ah, that software's expensive son, and misunderstood what you meant by "make program."
