If you're really afraid of the Morbols, catch the ghost in Yojinbo's cave and fight it at the monster farm till it drops an armor with no encounter ability.
For racing tips I wrote something in the FFX HD thread about it which might work for you, or not.

Morning.

I finally completed each CT set and I got Fisher to 50 =D

Started doing atma yesterday....


4/12 so far and I feel bad for new characters who want to level via fates =(

Lowest dungeon is 15.

Fates were the best way to get from 5-15 until atma. Now fates go down faster than Paris Hilton.

Why? Fates going down quicker = more exp for them in the end... Since areas are typically broken up by level they don't need to worry about them ending before they get there because they would already be in the area too.

Levelling my Gladiator this way. All I have to do is flash the mobs and wait a few seconds for the group to kill them all and I get gold rating and plenty of exp. :I
I could imagine it'd be harder on classes that need to build up some damage to get good ratings though.

I said new characters which don't have a mount lol.
(I'm also on a Legacy server where there's 30+ people per area atma farming.)
