I consider it romantic when my husband changes the toilet paper roll, or if I'm tired and he orders pizza instead of me needing to make dinner, or if he's at work and keeps in contact with me by messenger all day just because he wants to talk to me, or when I'm having trouble with something and he helps me out. That's romance to me, and I love it. If he did stuff like buy me chocolate and flowers all the time it would lose its 'awww' value. Those things have to be given out very, very sparsely, or else they become insincere. One of the sweetest things mine does is text me when he heads off to work in the morning. (I'm not married so :p) Even though I'm extremely grumpy when woken up, it puts a smile on my face to know he's thinking of me when he heads out the door. It's little things like this that makes me a happy lady!
