The best gifts my wife has ever given me were the ones I told her to get me.

She's super sentimental and used to give me cards and pictures and stuff. But honestly, if it doesn't have a practical use, it wont do anything more than gather dust. It's sweet that you took time to get this nice picture, or make this wood carving thing... but yeah, it just takes up space on my desk in the end.

Get me headphones, a part for my motorcycle, a nice bottle of scotch, etc and I'll love it.

Gifts should something you want, not something you need. Find something he has been eyeballing or just can't justify buying himself and it will honestly probably be the best gift he has ever gotten.

I'm sorry but paying $600 to have somebody poke you with a hot needle just doesn't seem like a good way to spend one's money.

To each their own I guess though.

you have to consider the amount of skill required to do a good tattoo. that ***is a permanent (relatively speaking) part of your body.

Time machine, with the winning lotto ticket. Go back in time with money, win more money, rinse/repeat.

Infinite money.

Ever wonder if random is not really random and actually a pattern that only makes sense when it gets to the end ?

Tattoos are definitely something I think that you'll never understand until you get one.
People do get some seriously stupid stuff on them, but what might be stupid to one person could be very sacred and meaningful to another.

I have three myself and money is the only factor that holds me from more.

So random is basically probability. It seems random because there is no context to know what someone is going to post. However you can establish patterns if you observe what people tend to post.
