This person was attempting to bot fates horribly. It appeared their bot couldn't figure out how to use stairs and they ended up running into a wall and trying to jump up to where the boss monster for the fate was. Eventually they got up to the boss because they found a spot where shoulder tackle would go up all the way. Then they fell into a spot where they could not see the boss for anything other then auto attacks and it was also out of line of sight for the healing chocobo they had. The Boss just beat them to death at this point.

My report on a botting moron.
