Harry Potter 1 & 2 were also good adpatations to the books. After The Prisoner of Azkaban, it went south fast.

They kept nearly everything in thanks to splitting the book into two movies. EDIT: Although they milked the hell out of Snape's Memories in an attempt to make him a redeemable character. Blegh, dude's disgusting. Alan Rickman did a hell of a job portraying him though.

I find it amusing that given the size of texas, it still suffers from terrible urban planning and traffic jams.
I miss living in austin sometimes.
