I'm a seasoned alcoholic, very high functioning. Been drinking very sparingly since I've been trying to lose weight though.
Not exactly something I'm proud of, but imagine your mind running 110% on multiple thoughts all the time. Toss in years of emotional issues and an alcoholic father. Classmate was a robot and I had to chop off his head. I took it as a sign that it is up to me to get him kicked out of class. lol

I discovered that alcohol slows everything to a comfortable level. Codeine on top of alcohol is as close to heaven as I'll ever see. I got a packet from my new employer today, gotta go do a drug test tomorrow, and have a bunch of material to read, yay.
Not to mention I have my physics homework to do still... edit: speaking of new job, I hope I get issued a laptop, I really don't want to have to drag my 17.3" monstrosity around to do ticketing with. Codeine on top of alcohol is as close to heaven as I'll ever see. I've learned to manage it otherwise, and short of some physical discomfort due to I'm not sure what yet, I'm doing pretty good. Still have my down days, but I've long since learned to manage it. Well about the worst day I've had so far in a long time was the other week when my car broke, just was piling on. yay, pizza order placed, *** yeah.
