wood pallets make surprisingly good building material/firewood depending on the quality. majority is great and it's almost always free. not often you find unburnable (chemically pressure treated, etc.) pallets, mostly get heat treated ones. wouldn' use for indoor fireplaces though
I have excessive fluid pressure especially in my left. It isn't glaucoma. Yet. Doesn't become glaucoma until the optic nerve is damaged and I AM trying to prevent that.
I live in WA and have what we laughingly call a green card.
I got some high CBD low THC stuff recently, usually good medically but not stony. Made me sleepy is all.
Also my eye STILL hurts.
So stay stoned like I did during the hippie years to save my eyesight?
I don't want to be stoned. Been there, done that, wore the T-shirt out decades ago.
This growing old stuff isn't for wimps or sissies.
Just finished an all mage side play through of DA:I (siding with the mages from DA:O and DA2, dark ritual in DA:O). Just so many wtf's at the last few missions and epilogue.
Proceeding to start a templar side game now, no dark ritual this time from DA:O. Wonder how different things are gonna be.
Because *** the god damned mages. Just entirely sick of cleaning up their messes in all the games. You feel kinda bad for them, and then they just keep *** up and making terrible choices for themselves. Just *** it, you idiots obviously can't stop getting possessed demons and resorting to blood magic. All mages need to die now.

After 9 months of my desktop breaking down, I wasn't able to get onto the harddrive to get all my music projects that were just collecting dust. Over the weekend, I was able to fix it up to the point to get all my projects off the faulty harddrive. YAY!!!
A half hour before class starts, and suddenly "Don't Stand So Close to Me" pops up on Pandora.
Damn Police.
My grand-nephew was playing with this little play school guitar toy the other day and I found myself spacing out, singing "...I hope someone gets my, I hope someone gets my message in a-" then I realized Message in a Bottle was playing from his toy. Blew my mind.
And I get called "weeaboo", "wapanese" and such when I say such things... lol
edit: The fact is that even NINTENDO OF AMERICA doesn't seem to take it's business as seriously as the main company in Japan does. Most of the game industry still view their products as "stuff for the kids". >_<
It's just because the dialogue sounds odd when they translate it. It's fine in shows like Avatar because it's written in English in the first place, any dub sounds awkward compared to the original.

Read the subtitles on the translated video. That proves it could be done in a less stupid way even as literal translation to English. They're just "going out of their way" to make it look like a silly kid's TV show. At least the acting quality of the english dub is actually pretty good besides the silly rewrites on the script.
The problem I have with English dubs for Japanese stuff is that they always sound so fake, it feels very "acted". You don't get that with US animated shows or games (unless bad voice actors in the latter).
Obviously you get it in Japanese games and animes too but it seems less frequent (unless you watch that moe loli ***) since there's a lot more competition for jobs in that field.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
