Think I finally found a good workout routine that I can keep going while doing my fire station rotations. Trying to avoid getting super sweaty and needing a shower just in case I get a call while working out. Have a four day plan set up around an A/B/C Shift rotation, I work A shift and have fire station rotations on C shift.
B Shift: Chest > Cardio
C Shift: Arms > Back
A Shift: Off/Recovery (no place to workout while at work mainly)
B Shift: Triceps > Back > Cardio
C Shift: Legs/Back
A Shift: Off/Recovery
And repeat. This way I avoid missing as many days as possible, still get 2~3 days of cardio a week, and I'm not super sweaty at the fire station.
Super nervous about my fire shifts, they start on the 10th. Basically not only is the past year of school at risk if I do poorly, but it is also more or less a job interview. Gotta prove that I'm smart enough, have the ambition/drive to do this job, and also fit enough to keep up with guys 10 years younger than me. And that's just the start of what I need to prove to these guys.
