How are they? I had looked at them briefly but couldn't justify the price at the time... might now.
They are probably the best sounding headset I've had (Astro A40 (mixamp inc.), Logitech G930, Turtle Beach X7s, and Turtle Beach PX3). Now they are a closed acoustic, so the bass isn't as high as you'd find in some other circamural headsets. They are primarily tuned for clarity and higher frequencies.
The mic is crystal clear and has really good noise cancelling. I also like the nifty feature of the auto-mute when you flip it up.
Out of the ones I've owned I'd actually rank them in that order overall as well. The X7s had nicer bass than the G930, but the highs weren't so good in them. G930 was annoying with charging and the issue with them desync'ing themselves from the usb dongle. Other than that they were decent.
The G4me Zero does have a higher impedance than the others so I wouldn't recommend using on-board sound (unless your motherboard is top of the line and has it's own dedicated "headphone jack"). Either a soundcard with a built in amplifier or an external one is more efficient imo.
