Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?

Looking at the list of equipment that I am starting to install tomorrow morning.
Gotta install 26 monitors and 9 PC's and I have almost no idea where they are going.
Scratch that, I know about where all of the monitors are going, apparently 14 are going with the 9 new computers.
I have the joy of sending an email to my supervisors in the morning to get approval to go to all of these sites as the order wasn't shipped to the individual places, joy.
I take it your job involves the IT field. You don't have to run the cables also do you? Fortunately not, for now I just install PC/Monitors and other equipment and do moves, apparently eventually I'll be doing break/fix on printers/mfps of the HP variety, which I keep slacking in my reviewing the material for, I need to create like a week void to catch up. I know I could probably due it during spring break when classes are out, but I want to catch up before then.

What you mean ? You ran it on top of a linux console ?
On PS2 and XBOX360 it actually drives it's own GUI so ... lol
More fun is you fiddle around FFXI graphics assets and see stuff there for a login screen and built in updater without POL. Like MMORPGs from other companies which update at the title screen or even before a login.

I get geeky about stuff and would rather run stuff outside of the GUI Linux. But when I launched the POL, I had to keep the terminal open and just watched as it checked and updated POL.
Or atleast as much as I could when it was flying by..
EDIT> Right now I am keeping an eye on my memory and freeing up the cache to speed up the updating. Going to try a few people's FFXI offline servers but if I don't like them, I might just launch my own and just play lower levels.
I remember a while ago the guy who made the "launcher program" which could decrypt and load the FFXI DLL (that was needed to make the game playable on such home hosted servers possible) got his pants sued by Square Enix.
I won't mention the program name as it's against this site's policy but you probably know what I am talking about.

That looks like a fresh install of POL viewer... It has to download like 400mb of crap before it can run lol
