Most recent World of Darkness run in a nutshell:

.-. New FFXIV patch real good. Loves it to deathles. Though I am willing to wager playerbase gonna rage over some of the moderately difficult things, and crap that doesn't need a nerf will get a nerf, just like with Pharos Sirius.
Spath greatly enjoys 2.5. KoL was the only dungeon that really threw us for a loop because me and my buddy didn't follow our normal DPS instinct right away. XP
Making good progress so far.
Just need to complete Odin and Gilgamesh questline to be up to par! woo got 2 pieces of dreadwyrm outta 11 and 12 today, then had this made:

Welcome to the new method of making minimum wage, where 30 hours a week is normal and you will most likely work 6-7 days a week doing only 2-4 hours a day. Apparently multitasking lowers your IQ says neuroscience.
You know when I first started these Hildibrand quests I thought, "This is some stupid ***. Who came up with this crap?" Now here I am, sad that this patch was the last batch.
A quest line that did not fit the game at all. It was silly and crazy in a game whos main story is quite grim and dark. A bumbling detective and his air headed sidekick. Trying to solve cases while really doing nothing but getting in the way. From cross-dressing at a wedding, to fighting with Ultros, they consistently proved to be utterly useless. Yet I grew to like these characters. I don't know why but as I did the quests they grew on me to the point I wanted more. I will miss these crazy quests and will hope for them to return in the future.

I love Nashu, she's a complete idiot. For some reason I tend to really appreciate characters like that lol.

Well ***, got suspended from work for 3 days.

I had the same reaction when they first introduced the charas in 1.xx prior to the release of ARR, then fell in love with the quirky storylines. :p When they 'wrapped up' Hildebrand story at the end of 1.23, I didn't see him having a way of surviving the Calamity event, but he certainly did LOL. Wait a few days ago, that means either they take their time in counting the money or it failed once it got to the bank, how did they know it was yours?
Not to mention that if it took that long, it means they wouldn't have caught it either, kind of a load of crap to suspend you for. I couldn't understand a single write-up, but a suspension is a bit overboard. The trick with telling somebody their money/payment is no good is that they get pissy, and if you're alone on graveyard it could escalate into an unsafe situation. Been there done that, and it sucks. Only ones I've ever worried with were bleached dollar bills reprinted as bigger ones, and then I just check the #'s on the inside, as they're hard to fake.
Aside from that anything printed on other paper feels different, and is really easy to tell. That and I have a long habit of just marking anything bigger than a 10, as it's what I've always done. That being said, Counterfeit Canadian money, that's a hoot. :P |
