Quebec is so damn uptight and acts like their culture+language is under siege to the point of making it a law that retailers can't sell english version of a videogame if they offer a french version. When I lived there I was super annoyed that some games would simply not be carried if there was no french version. I don't think I've played any proper game in Swedish actually
Nah Josi, Quebec (the Seperatist Government) crushes hardcore on France, and France is like "NO!", but the people generally ignore most of the *** laws (like driving the speed limit, or driving a red, yellow, or green light [this is a joke by most Comics who visit Montreal for Just For Laughs]) and absolutely love tourists.
I lived there about 2 years and lived in the very 'french' part of montreal. Really loved speaking the language and it was a good life experience, but it was such a mixed bag of experiences.
I had a love/hate relationship with the place, some really good and bad memories.
