Tell me something interesting, tonight is looking like a boring one

It takes over 8 minutes for light to reach the earth from the sun.

I might go completely insane.

Or I might get a kitten tonight.

Scratch that, I'm just going to go completely insane.
There's a difference?
One of my coworkers found a 4-6 week old kitten last Saturday after I left. She took it home but her hubby doesn't want to keep it, so she is offering people to take it for her.

I'm the only one in the office who offered to take it, but her hubby has 3 people from his work who's offering to take it, and her hubby is making the call as to who to give it to. I'm pretty much out of the running unless all 3 decides to back down.

So, I'm just a tad bit heartbroken cause of it, it's a very beautiful kitten.

It's a Ragdoll kitten too:

Edit: Just found out, they gave the kitten to one of his coworkers, oh well.

Kindof wish they didn't bother telling any of us now, to be honest.

Sked, skön, skydda, sköld, skjuta, skena etc have that weird sound

G can have a Y (to you, J to us) or hard G sound

Gungnir is more like "yuhng-neer"

It's kind of annoying for you guys lol

Being from california and saying 'hey' alot already, swedish 'Hej' was quite easy to get used to using as a greeting.
But yeah west coast americans speak in a way that gets along well with swedish speaking. 'Sing-songy', 'undulating' sort of tone and rhythm when speaking is not a problem.

Doing the HR1 Nerscylla urgent in the guild atm.

*** love all this new climbing/jumping combat. Feels so good finishing off a monster with a jumping attack as it's swooping in on you. @_@

Where in the US do people not greet each other with "Hey!"?

Wait...Which American region doesn't have it's own melody to its accent?

/confused

its more the way west coasters say it that tricks swedes into thinking we are native swede saying 'Hej'

Differentiations, no matter how slight, in regional accents are so fascinating.

I need to reclaim that retention of German I've lost. :/
