Pikachu has been knocked to the Losers Bracket by Cpt. Falcon in a surprising upset.
Last Tourny Cpt. Falcons first match was against Pikachu where he was annihilated and sent to the losers bracket where he was finished off by Kirby.
He ended the Tourny not even winning a single round. I wrote him off as doomed when he had to face Pikachu again. I was proven wrong as he managed to score 3 Meteor smashes on Pikachu in the first round alone while only losing 1 life himself.
Round 2 Pikachu learned to dodge the meteor smash. This caused Cpt. Falcon to miss one and caused him to lose the round as he couldn't cancel the attack and recover.
Round 3. Pikachu starts off decimating Cpt. Falcon. It was hard to watch. Cpt. Falcon is now at 1 life with 60% damage and Pikachu is at 2 lives with 40% damage. At this point I start modifying the brackets to put Pikachu as the winner. Then it happened. Cpt. Falcon got his second wind. Now at 100% he manages to kill Pikachu and even the lives. Cpt. Falcon dodges and shields like no tomorrow while weaving in throws and smash attacks till there is no difference in their %. It all came down to who ever landed the first hit.
Pikachu goes for a grab. Falcon dodges. Falcon goes for a Grab Pikachu dodges. Pikachu starts a forward smash. Falcon rolls behind him and foward smashes while Pikachu is still locked into the animation for his. KO. Pikachu is sent to the loser bracket by Cpt. Falcon.
