he has all sorts of tutorials on his channel. i like elucidator's design, and he happens to have a tutorial for that. i havent been to a craft store for the materials yet though

What I don't get about the 18 cores is it doesn't follow the usual progression of things, 1 2 4 8 16 32.

Also I played MH4U last night with some randos. I started on Gunlance but after wyvern-firing a team mate.... twice I decided to switch things up. Tried out Hunting Horn.

Here is my dilemma. I know the songs kick ***, people said they loved having the buffs and random heals. If I get in close though and try to contribute damage, I end up knocking people on their butts more than I hit the monster.

Do hunting horns typically hang back and bard it up?

no, you're meant to act like a hammer and hit the head for a chance to stun. Obviously if you can't due to a hammer being in your way, change where you're hitting. If there's other people getting hit and it's not something easily fixed, like you're trying to hit the tail when you have no way of actually severing it, well... Yea lmao

For horns you toot till your songs are up them you become a hammer user and attack the head when you can. Hitting other people is a problem every weapon has best you can do is try not to but don't feel bad about it too much.
