Saw an amazing thunderstorm when I was in Italy, the whole sky lit up in purple whenever there was lightning
The house was by the beach so you could see really far out too

I don't rate it as #1 because I love how snow falls way too much, especially if you're just walking outside and snowflakes are falling on your jacket/coat and you just stop, look at your arm REALLLLY close, and you can see the actual snowflake shape that they're known for so much.
 Only have been able to see the snowflake shape a few times, but I act like such a kid so amazed staring at my sleeve when I do. Yea, the after effect of snow isn't fun, but you take the good with the bad I guess.

Boo... got turned down to test for two more cities because I lack fire certifications. Thankfully I put in 3 more applications to other departments today.
One place is making me fill out a personal history packet before I test... including such wonderful questions as names and address of my parents and my spouse's parents, all jobs held since I was 17 (full, part-time, and seasonal), all moving traffic violations since I was 17, all traffic accidents since I was 17, and (my favorite) list all fire departments I have ever applied for! Including dates of applications and reasons for not being chosen. Gonna be one long *** list on that last one.
