It was but I figured it would spoil faster constantly taking it out to thaw for one thing, then putting it back in the freezer when you're done with it. lol
Okay, when you buy bulk meat, you cut it up into 1 pound (or half pound) portions. You don't need to weigh it, look at the package, if it says 10 pounds just make 9 cuts (10 parts).
I put each part in its own freezer bag, and then I prefer to flatten it slightly you can stack them in the freezer. If you need to, write the date on the bag and what it is.
