<(O.o)> Sad to say, for years I was always, own the property and be legit, I even had my own company that sold used games.
But when people are telling me to fork over $100 for a SNES RPG game that I may only play for a week, I start questioning the gaming market as a whole and who really thinks games values should be so high that a gamer needs to dish out alot of money just for a game that will probably not live up to someone's memories or hype.
I replayed Final Fantasy 3, probably got half way and lost interest. It was fun for what I played of it, but would it be worth $100? I do like when they re-release a game just to keep a good game in circulation and moderate priced. Where and what platform are they trying to selling old school SNES games for high prices?
If we're talking the original graphics, and not any remakes, Sony's network for the PSP weren't that high in price if I remember correctly.

If we can just get a remake of The Legend of Mana, that'd be great.

Okay... small conundrum... Ordered a strat guide back on July 12th (Shipped 2 days later)... I hadn't received it 31 days after (Aug 14) and contacted for a refund, which I got a couple of days ago...
Guess what arrived in the mail today? The guide I ordered...
Do I tell them I got it and have to give back the refund I got or not say anything about it...
(This was from Amazon btw)

Crazy thought. Since my board meeting tomorrow isn't until noon and it's at the Hyatt Riverwalk downtown, I think I'm going to go to the Alamo for the first time this decade. Be a tourist in my own city for once in a while.
If I'm early enough, maybe even watch that Alamo movie at the Rivercenter too. Just for kicks. I hope I won't get all sweaty before the meeting though lol....

When I first went to the Alamo, I was walking with friends and I asked "Oh, so where is the Alamo?" They pointed back behind me and said "We just walked passed it." LOL >.>;; (It was that hard to see/nondescript, at least to me.) :p
Then when we decided to go inside, I was shocked that there was really only one room/building, and that the wall outside facing the street was pretty much all that was left of the Alamo. 9_-;; Needless to say it was neat, but um...it wasn't the most amazing tourist-y thing I've ever done. :p

(This was from Amazon btw) Mailing errors in your favor like that are generally legally yours to keep (fraud excluded, obviously). You can contact them to let them know, but the usual outcome is the company letting you keep the mistake. If you need to ease your conscious then give them a call.

What? :| I am just saying like on eBay, they want $1,000 for a NES game Little Samson, totally not worth it.
And with games like Final Fantasy, with the later releases on PS1, it made the games cheaper than trying to find the original SNES games.
But with games appearing on places like Nintendo's and Sony's game stores, you do get a chance to play older games at a manufacturer's released price. Oh ok you're talking about getting the original cartridges off of eBay. Gotcha.

I only would be selling games and systems if I got a good price on a lot or do a buyout on a store that is closing.
I wouldn't do loans or anything that wasn't out of pocket to purchase inventory so I could prevent going into debt.
Sadly with my moving, I don't want to the hassle of moving my business address to an apartment and any other changes I would have to do just for an online business.
I have til the middle of September before my next quarter reporting on taxes with Illinois and I'll probably close the business then.

I cringe at thinking about replacing all of those caps, I'm not familiar with Sega hacking but I'm assuming the gby wires are achieving some sort of exploit.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
