I admit it, I am kinda jealous. I do want their coupons!

one dude on there bugged me...he hasn't paid for toilet paper in three years LOL.

and also, the people that have like, a whole garage full of effin cereal. there is NO way they'll eat it all before it expires ><

have none of you guys worked retail?! i really hate that show lol i hated getting coupon customers lol id get in trouble for accepting so many coupons

TLC.. that show that has like 18 kids and counting and stuffs ;3

they join coupon clubs, surf the internet, buy tons of newspapers and store coupons until they can be used with other coupons for the best deals.

Its a ridiculous amount of planning. I think most people on that show are some form of OCD or hoarders.

Ive only seen the show like..once maybe. One woman had to make multiple trips days in advance before her actual grocery shopping. She had to make sure the items were actually on the shelves, if the store had any coupons and compare them to her coupons.

Also you have to make sure you have a grocery store that will allow extreme couponing. My sisters work at grocery stores and they have all kinds of rules on coupons so you have to make sure you can get around those rules..

I use to work in a grocery store during my senior year. We had coupons yes, but not to this extreme. However, Canada is different than the US in this situation it looks like. Crazy.

its horrible. we don't get in trouble though...unless we take a fraudulent coupon, or mess up to where we OWE the customer money.

it just bugs me that someone will come in and "buy" 30 of something with coupons, and then everyone else complains that theres none left to buy.

and when they come to the front register instead of the other ones we have, and then have like 10 transactions (we cant tell them "no" or limit how many transactions) and then the other people in line are pissed that its taking so long.

and then there's these two women that come in, load up their carts with toooooooons of each item, and hand me coupons that are: expired, have the dates cut off of them, are for the wrong item...and then get just walk off when i tell them i cant take them....

I still kinda work in retail (retail pharmacy) and I think nothing irritates me more then someone with like 65 coupons when i'm working pretty much by myself. It's a lot of old people and moms. You don't see middle age guys doing that :|

exactly! lol my manager would try to find ways to tell them no but still we had the regular coupon people lol i swear anyone that works retail should despise that show xD

Ive never seen anybody with an extreme amount of coupons. My dad used to be pretty big on coupon usage back when we were living near the military base. But the commissary gives you coupons for everything so we were never extreme coupon users..not anymore than everybody else in the commissary.

I did though, while waiting in checkout line in walmart the other day, get stuck behind these 2 ladys who had 2 buggys full of 2L mountain dew. I thought it'd be a fast transaction because you know..you scan one mountain dew and multiply it by 50 yeah...well no. She paid in gift cards. It was a thick stack of gift cards...5$..10$...still on the little cardboard hangy thing.

The register person had to scan each individually. I giggled inconsolably the whole time. LOL

I worked at Duckwall-Alco, then at King's. Both are retail. Coupons were a pain. At Alco we actually had to summon a supervisor to the register to approve them, and the supervisors could never just come when you called for one. They'd meander around and wander from all the way across the store and take five or ten minutes while the customer and I and everyone in line sat there awkwardly trying not to stare at each other.

But honestly, it was the customers who drove me out of retail. Not the coupons. I then worked at A&W for a year, it's a fast food place here. That was awful, customers had no idea that the people serving them were actually people, ya know, who didn't like it when others were rude to them. Ugh. Never again.

Kinda. I'm not sure what the front end of it deals with but from when I call and talk to the Pharmacist at CVS they have the same awesome customers we do :3

Pharmacy can be pretty terrible. You have to have some big balls (>.>; not -literally-) to deal with the verbal bashing we get over everything |:

ive gotten yelled at a bunch of times at the front end :P just depends if u get those angry people lol i was always super friendly and was like okies! have a good night! after they yell at me lol

I don't need that many coupons, but I never really am able to find any or any sales going on. :/ I would like to save some money at least...

haha i acted timid and little but still :P some lady started yelling at me and calling me stupid and wanted to speak to my manager lol i think it was cuz i was mexican :P

yeah ugghh retailll! lol i probably could get my position back easily cuz my manager liked how i was so timid :P but if i go back to retail its gotta be petco! the cute animals will make it ok :P
