Cause in about 14 years the debate over whether or not machines can be conscious will be over. So naturally the resistance to such things as well as the beginnings of such debates are already taking place.

The Alamo was a mission-turned-fort during the Texas Revolution and the forthcoming Mexican War, most of the outer buildings were destroyed in the battle. But they restored some buildings in the back (going by memory, I haven't been at the Alamo for almost 2 decades)....

Hm, yah I guess the Peewee video did remind me there was the part of the story I had neglected to mention where it happened when I was 18, there was a group of us girls (trainees from Fort Sam) all walking about the Riverwalk inebriated, and not-surprisingly we turned down the wrong street (thus walking past the Alamo.) >.>;; LOL not too odd that I forgot that, but Peewee-style I did remember the Alamo part. :p

If I understood this series right, "Chii" was the original prototype which gave origin to all the other personal assistants that existed on the story. Because it was "broken" (it started to develop a personality) it was thrown away. The guy takes it to home and we see it develops into a "person" through the series. Ala Jhonny five from Short Circuit. lol

Been at least 10 years since I watched that series so I don't remember many details of the plot. Maybe I should pick the manga to read lol
