What a load of pretentious bollucks. If drawing isn't fun for you, don't do it. Don't try and make it seem like some huge struggle you're forced to deal with.

It was meant to be humorous, and from the perspective of a professional artist. They draw as a form of work, rather than entertainment, yet they recognize that the drawings that come out are fun, while simultaneously explaining that the drawings that hit the recycle bin (which should never go there in the first place, as a point of reference, instead of frustration) are typically what the fans don't see.

How many of Leon's pics do we see? What about Kitty's? Chances are they both get frustrated with how things don't turn out exactly they way they want them to until they manipulate the pictures a little, though either one has had reason to throw away something or have never had any fun with drawing.

It's really more of a perspective thing.

Also, my luck with the half price lucky draw event sucks ***.

I got one of Auron's katanas that gives me Rising Fang, and a staff for Lenna which grants a revive with full HP restore, but everything else was just 3 star garbage.

It's not just comic artists either. There are a lot of art for things like weapons and stuff that never made it into FFIX for example. There were designs, and even names for weapons that simply ended up on the cutting room floor. Love that artbook.

Sorry to jump in here but I totally agree with you, I liked the comic because it was true. The Mspaint Challenges that I don't enter is not because I didn't draw anything; it's because I deleted what I drew because I hated how it turned out. Pretty much why I never wanted to be a professional artist '-' I think I would've starved to death and had my cardboard box foreclosed on by now
