It was this gigantic cluster *** of "Games ending, lets fit every single character from a 6 expansion MMO in." Doing too much for it to ever be good, like every other quest line was "Oh let's go meet Tenzen/Prishe/Lilisette/Balamor/Seltheus/Zeid/Lion/Aphmau/Shantoto/every NPC every made". Plus the retcon, my god. The feels of Lilisette being gone for good or Lion being basically deaded were completely ripped apart when they are like jk they are back.

I will say that I got so bored of it by the 3rd installment I quit playing. This is coming from someone that absolutely loved the ToAU, WoTG, SoA, and CoP story lines.

And as someone who loves all the storylines and the Lore and some of the lesser liked characters like Lazaros. I appreciate the thought especially with some of the last dialog lines in the storyline.

I am too, FFXI lore is amazing. I read god damn WoW lore books, and play FFXIV solely for the story. I am most definitely a lore nerd. RoV felt completely lore breaking in every respect, these missions were tied up properly and just gutting them to force them back into the final send off was horrible.

Speaking of Evangelion, after 3.33 being on my amazon wishlist for four years it's finally getting released next month outside Japan.

God i forgot it diddn't have an english dub yet. Diddn't they say like years ago it was getting a dub and never did.

Also Original HD remake is soooooo gorgeous. It's a shame that they lost i think the original material for one episode :(

I don't know if they did but I have no clue why it took four years to make a dub for it, it's not even that long since it's episodic. 1 and 2 didn't take more than a few months if I remember right.

Personally the differences between the original and the remakes are too large for me to truly love the remakes, but it is one of the most visually beautiful animes ever made. I think I read at the time it was the most expensive one ever made too. 1.0 came out in 2007 and probably looks better than Fate Stay Night which is in my opinion the highest quality current animes in animation.
