Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?

<(._.)> One thing I have been thinking about, so I bought this laptop, it didn't come with a hard drive...but it has the Windows OEM sticker....
So...do I own the rights to download and install the windows?
Not sure, not planning on it either...just wondering... Yes, what sticker is on it? (Which Windows).
edit: well mostly, but the question remains the same.

Windows 7 Pro OA Ah, Yeah I can send you a .iso later (used to be able to download it directly from M$, but now you have to put in the product key and it doesn't like OEM stickers (at least it doesn't for the Dell ones).
I'll make a linux vm later with a ssh share.

When you use the key (depending how many times it's been used, since it's pro I doubt too often, as usually professional laptops get the organization's image and a site license, assuming even more since it's missing the hdd) you may have to do the over the phone activation after it's installed, enter the 54 digit installation key over the phone and then enter the 54 digits they say back to you.
It's a pain, but it's how you have to activate legit keys if you've used them and reinstalled a bunch.

Well it's for a Singapore Windows 7 from the IBM Lenovo Thinkpad. Oh, not sure if the key/disc will work then, but it's worth a shot.
But you don't have to, I usually kill any hard drive I get with windows on it. Seriously, kill it...

I feel bad, I haven't really used a linux distro in months, didn't even know that ifconfig was depreciated.

The idea is that the more you explore the world or beat bosses, the more insight you get which lets you see more of the world around you. Like, "holy ***this hard guy was camping right outside my home nation???" And it's an insanely tough special mob you just couldn't comprehend before.
Or adding huge flying dragon types in the skybox once you get insight high enough. "I can now actually SEE gods and grasp their existence now!?!"
And summoning someone to help with a boss costs 1 insight too, so it becomes a perfect way to tie a game to its difficulty because no newb ***player is going to have enough insight for the challenging side content. I like that if you ring your beckoning bell, but then nobody is found, it doesn't consume your insight. I also like that ringing the small bell to help others doesn't consume Insight :3

Seriously though, that's terrifying. But I love my maple glazed donuts!
But yes, that is pretty *** up. The police managed to take the assailant in alive though, and now people (the same people who demand suicide gunmen be taken in alive), say he should have been executed on the spot. Among other political rallying points against either side.
