Well, go figure when I finally get the courage to ask a woman out, she's dating a guy I know. That's always my luck. I believe 'fml' fits here right? I think if I drank, I'd turn to alcohol right now. Watermelon and some music will work just fine as a substitute.

Sometimes I wonder what got me to really start posting on these forums. Was it boredom, or just a desire to butt heads with people? Did I desire to know someone who posts? Was it all of these things? I cannot remember, which is bugging me. XP for life! (or until I can afford to get 7 pro)

Living without internet is hard enough, but without power really sucks, you'd think I'd be used to it already seeing as nearly every other year or so this area is hit by a bad hurricane and we lose power for a week or two.. At least when it's just the internet I can put on one of the movies I have saved on my harddrive. Something like replacing or further fortifying the power lines/grid around here to "prevent future interruptions" or some ***like that.. Which isn't going to help anyways, living right on the coast, the only way to prevent that would be to move EVERYTHING underground, so that during hurricanes trees/wind can't tear down poles and rip apart lines.
Last hurricane we were in, I had a good vantage point, it's quite a sight to see power poles/transformers arcing for like half a mile around as the storm rolls in..
