I just wanted to send you guys a quick message to let you know that your poor choice in shipping has cost you any further business with myself or anyone I would have referred to you.

I placed my order over a week ago and DHL hasn't even made it into my state. Meanwhile my girlfriend ordered shirts from a similar website based in California 4 days AFTER I placed my order and already received hers.

We apologize for any delay. We offer three different shipping options within the U.S. and unfortunately postal delivery is not a guaranteed method of shipment. Transit with the postal service is 3 to 8 business days anywhere in the U.S., UPS ground to your location is 3 to 4 business days and 2nd day air is 2 business days to anywhere in the U.S. If you would like to receive an order faster in the future we suggest using UPS ground or 2nd day air as we cannot guarantee the speed of postal service. Thank you for the completely unhelpful and unsympathetic reply. See the issue I am having here is that I selected the USPS shipping option, which you said is 3-8 days. However what you did was ship it via a third party, DHL, who took 8 days just to get it as far as New Jersey (I am in upstate NY). DHL then dumped it off at the post office in NJ for something called "the last mile", a program where USPS generally take a package the last few miles for the actual delivery. This is not typically used for an entire state. In these cases USPS typically make NO money for performing this service, which is counter-intuitive to my picking USPS as a shipping method. You see my mother is a Postmaster, so I try and support USPS any chance I can (this is why I know how things like last mile work).

Now I do not think the shipping delays are your fault. That is because DHL are a shitty company. HOWEVER, I am sure you know the phrase about birds of a feather. The fact that your company CHOSE to use DHL whether it was because it was cheaper or more convenient. That is on YOU.

So I don't appreciate the customer service response of "you should have picked a faster shipping method" when you didn't even provide the shipping method I selected and paid for.
