Welp, no Brapan this time either. No way am I gonna grind out another 50 stones in like 12 hours. Guess I'll just have to hope I can get her when the event comes to global.
Barotto is cool though.

I didn't buy them, my niece did. Considering she has used my mom's phone which I pay half for, we'll call it even.

My sister is on my brother's phone bill. Including an iPad.
Last month her data bill was around $200.00.

She did an e-transfer of $40.00, trying to call it even.

So for Christmas, when my brother can save up some extra money, he's going to buy out the remaining balance on her phone and iPad, and cut her off without notice lol.

When it comes to hording things, my dad has this ultra creepy collection of ceramic masks displayed on the entire living room wall. Like the souls of the damned got a raw deal or something.

Where I live, the Choctaw Nation (Native American tribe) has TV commercials...but I don't really know wtf they are advertising. They don't show a number to sign up for tribal benefits, a website, or anything. It's just a bunch of scenes with tribe members ending in the seal of the Choctaw Nation.

It's like they have a commercial for the sake of having a commercial. I don't understand.

I've seen commercials like that, but it's more of an advertisement to say "Hey white guys, we're still here and we're going to stay here"

This is just like a girl singing in church, she looks up and says "I love my faith." Then a woman in a park with her family who says "I love my family." Then a line of people consisting of the church goers, the girl, the woman, and her family, then a group shot where they all say "We love being Choctaw." Then the tribal seal. The end.

What the *** are they advertising?

...and no, it isn't a casino because it doesn't have that obnoxious voiceover.

There are many tribes here in Oklahoma but the Choctaw are the only ones with a commercial like this.

Personally, I can't any good reason to love my aboriginal heritage, at least not with the dipstains out there going around drinking to levels of drunkenness that would put white trash to shame and make them look like a 12 step program to sobriety. Going around yelling "NATIVE PRIDE!" and looking like they just finished giving a dumpster *** for food stamps.

Don't get me wrong, there are aboriginal entrepreneurs out there, but they happen to be the vast minority. And of the most successful ones I've had a chance to meet and greet, none of them felt any pride for their heritage either. Many had even disavowed themselves from it.

I have some sort of native blood but my family came from an area Arkansas where... people who aren't white weren't treated well. So, those who could hide it hid it and simply claimed they were white... which is why my family doesn't gain benefits. When it came to paperwork, everyone was "white".

Having learned much of aboriginal history, my dad was one such survivor of the terror that was residential schooling. He hated his father for being illiterate, but every story he has about him tend to show what a great person he was, despite not being able to read very well or at all.

What was worse, is that my dad was a half-blood, or "dirty blood", mixed native/Caucasian and they got ripped apart by both sides.

I used to know a girl who was full-blooded "Indian" (her words) she was pretty, she once told me that I smell good "like Skoal"

She used to work at a Mexican restaurant.

...she also had a tendency to tell ***-up stories about herself and I think I was the only one who found it cute.

I'm thinking the next time I go shopping, I should get some stuff to make some cream soups from scratch.

Maybe play with a few new recipes I've been batting around in my brain case.
